The KUHN HAYBOB Series is well suited to small to medium sized farms. These universal haymakers are made from heavy-duty components to give the machine a long life. Both HAYBOB models are easy to adjust and operate.

The tine height and rotor pitch angle are quickly optimised for both tedding and raking by adjusting the wheel columns and the tractor’s top link to obtain the desired setting. For tedding the wheels are lowered and the top link is shortened to acheive an optimal crop pick-up and maximal crop movement. For raking, the wheels have to be set in a higher position and the top link lengthened so the machine is in a horizontal positon, resulting in a clean and evenly formed swath.
Each rotor is equipped with narrow and wide tines to obtain a wide working area for a higher capacity operation and faster working speeds. The unique design combines low weight with a stable and rigid rotor which can handle high capacity crop throughput.
A central swath divider ensures that crop is evenly distributed between the rotors when tedding to provide the most uniform distribution of crop for rapid drying.
The crop deflectors on the HAYBOB 300 and 360 have two height settings. On flat ground, the lower position produces a perfect swath without crop losses. In rough terrain, the upper position minimises wear on the crop deflectors.
Switch from tedding to raking in minutes! Reposition the tines, swing the crop deflectors, adjust the wheels and within minutes the HAYBOB 300 and 360 are set from tedding to raking position or vice versa. If using the HAYBOB 360 as a side delivery rake, the rotation of one rotor also has to be reversed by moving a lever, the crop divider and crop curtain set into position, and the mainframe swung. These settings can be done within minutes and the instructions are clearly indicated on a decal.
The pivoting headstock unlocks while at work to closely follow the path of the tractor when turning, without damaging the swath. When lifted for transport, the headstock automatically centers and locks for added safety.
The centrifugal force controlled, horizontal tines self-adjust to field contours as they float through stubble to cleanly pick up crop, providing faster working speeds with little risk of contamination when tedding and raking. Thanks to the tine holder design, it is very easy to move the tine from tedding to raking position and vice-versa.
Twenty individually mounted, pivoting tines feature nylon bearings to provide reliable performance and an operation that is practically maintenance free.
