Go for a mounted twin rotor rake rather than single rotor!

GA 6501 P mounted twin rotor rakes deliver central swaths between 5.65 m and 6.40 m. Their raking quality is impressive and they produce perfect swaths for fast dry-down.

Single rotor rakes are pushed to their limits on farms with continuously increasing grassland areas. That's why a twin rotor machine with higher output and just as compact as a single rotor rake is exactly what you need. GA 6501 P mounted twin rotor rakes are your best choice with no compromise made on manageability. They have double-curved hyper-tangential mounted tine arms that produce high-quality raking and perfect swath formation for fast forage drying. These rakes include all the features of a professional rake while being great value for money and highly maneuverable.

Your Benefits

Compact and maneuverable

2.50 m in transport mode

Driving from one plot to another is made simple due to the machine’s narrower transport width. The GA 6501 P mounted model is ideal for farmers looking for the manoeuvrability of a mounted machine combined with the large working width of a twin rotor rake.

  •  It can be adjusted from 5.65 to 6.40 m by increasing the space between the two rotors.
  • The fixed headstock and four pivoting wheels guide the rotor with great stability on bends. Plant stubble is therefore preserved and entering the plot is easier than with a trailed model.
  • Changing from transport to work mode is managed from the tractor cab thanks to the rake’s integrated lift system. Hydraulic rotor lift facilitates headland turns and ensures high clearance for passing over swaths. It is not necessary to use the tractor’s lift system. Result: one double acting valve is sufficient for all manoeuvres.
  • In addition, you save storage space in your sheds with the GA 6501 P as it folds up, vertically supported by its special parking stands.

Great raking for clean forage, free of impurities

Swath formation: the benefit of double-curved arms

The homogeneous quality and volume of windrows are conditions for fast drying and easy pick-up by balers.
The tine arms on GA rakes are in hyper-tangential position. This means that they reach a 90¡ angle very late. With the tines’ sharp-angled cam, tine clearance is quick, later and requires little rotational effort to produce regular, fluffy and straight windrows. Raking is of high quality even at high speeds because the forage is not pushed past the windrow.
The advantages of double-curved arms:

  • They reduce the distance between tine passes. Forage loss is reduced to a minimum, even at high speeds.
  • The main weight is at the centre of the tine arm. This increases service life as it is not subject to pressure during rotation and the guide rollers are less subject to stress.

Rotors designed to reduce impurities

The rotors are capable of gently contouring uneven ground without damaging grass stubble. They are equipped with a highly effective 3D rotor suspension system.
The rotor wheels are positioned close to the tines to provide optimised ground contouring on uneven plots. These features prevent impurities from contaminating the forage.

Easy adjustments

Swaths up to 2 metres

Swath width is easy to adjust on GA 6501 P models. Using the adjustment handle, swath width can be increased to 2.00 m.

No need to remove the arms

The large width of this machine increases work output in relation to a single rotor rake and it also saves you time. No need to remove the tine arms now for road travel.
