When your farm size is on the increase

GA 6501 and GA 7501 + twin rotor rakes deliver central swaths between 5.40 m and 8.00 m. Their raking quality is impressive and they produce perfect swaths for fast dry-down.

Single rotor rakes are pushed to their limits on farms with continuously increasing grassland areas. That's why a twin rotor machine with higher output and just as compact as a single rotor rake is exactly what you need. GA 6501 and 7501+ rakes meet these expectations. They have double-curved hyper-tangential mounted tine arms that produce high-quality raking and perfect swath formation for fast forage drying. These rakes include all the features of a professional rake while being great value for money and highly maneuverable.

Your Benefits

Compact design for smaller structures

The GA 6501 and GA 7501 + have less than 2.55 m in transport position

Travel with ease on roads or when entering narrow fields with the GA 6501 and 7501 + thanks to:

  • their transport width: 2.50 m and 2.55 m width respectively.
  • their directional transport wheels (optional on GA 6501).
  • their pivoting headstock with a significant travel range.

Great raking for clean forage, free of impurities

Swath formation: the benefit of double-curved arms

The homogeneous quality and volume of the swath are conditions for fast drying and easy pick-up by the following baler.
The tine arms on GA rakes are in hyper-tangential position. This means that they reach a 90 degree angle very late. With the tines’ sharp-angled cam, tine clearance is quick, later and requires little rotational effort to produce regular, fluffy and straight swaths. Raking is of high quality even at high speeds because the forage is not pushed past the swath.
The advantages of double-curved arms:

  • They reduce the distance between tine passes. Forage loss is reduced to a minimum, even at high speeds.
  • The main weight is at the centre of the tine arm. This increases service life as it is not subject to pressure during rotation and the guide rollers are less subject to stress.

Rotors designed to reduce impurities

The rotors are capable of gently contouring uneven ground without damaging grass stubble. They are equipped with a highly effective 3D rotor suspension system.
The rotor wheels are positioned close to the tines to provide optimised ground contouring on uneven plots. These features prevent impurities from contaminating the forage.

At home even on tough terrain

1001 series rakes are equipped with 3D bogie axles.
The bogie axle is available for tough fields, as an option on GA 7501 + model. It is ideal for rotor guidance in difficult conditions (ruts, rough grassland….) and at high groundspeeds

Swaths adapted to harvesting machines

GA 6501: swaths up to 2 metres

Swath width can be easily adapted – it can be adjusted to up to 2.00 m via a crank handle.

GA 7501+: mechanical or hydraulic as an option

The swath width is adjusted with a 4-position handle.
In standard configuration with a working width of 6.90 m to 7.40 m, the swaths width is between 1.30 m and 1.90 m. The machine can be configured in a narrow version for a reduced working width of 6.70 to 7.20 m and a reduced swath width. This configuration also meets the requirements of road constraints with a transport height of 4 m without disassembling the tine arms.
